Another Child Gets a Sponsor..

AAwwwh~ Truly this week has been fantastic for everyone in RSN, as we have individuals who are interested in sponsoring education of the disadvantaged children.

This week, we made an appeal through e-mail to some group of people of the need to pull resources together so we could pay the piling debt and school fees of a young man called Immanuel who was ejected from school by the school authority because his parents could not afford to pay his outstanding debts and school fees. He has stayed at home for some good months until, silently wishing to go back to school. Born into a family of eight, he said life has been pretty challenging.

Today, our young friend, has gotten a sponsor who is going to pay up his outstanding debt and termly pay his school fees until he finishes his secondary education.

Thank You, Sponsor!!!!! Thank You so much..

GCE Sponsorship Initiative
Yeah! This week, and for the first time, we decided to publish on the internet a page, wherewith student could apply for assistance to register for the 2012 General Certificate Examination. This was to give us the ample opportunity to reach out to a wider range of young people who need some support to purchasing the GCE application form. And, of course, we did receive over fifty applications from disadvantaged youths, requesting for sponsorship for the examination. Thus far, we have bought the form for seventeen students.

giving them something that you'll never get back"

Dear Friend,

Trusting you had a pleasant weekend...:)

In just a few seconds, let us take you down memory lane, especially when you were a kid...Now, how does it feel like when you have people visit you, yes, solely YOU, driving into your rural street in good car (Toyota Prado TX) etc and you have some stares here and there..because people want to know who's got the August Visitors?! It feels good...

Yesterday, we did visit another young woman, a beneficiary of the 2010 GCE Sponsorship Program. Sadly, for some financial reasons, Tope has not been able to further her education since her last examination. The intent of our visit was to introduce to her our newest Sponsor and Partner Mr. Ef., who is interested in meeting with disadvantaged young people who need some financial assistance/Scholarship.

Interestingly, our Friends did meet with Basit an…
