While Aduragbemi has finally cleared all his papers after graduating from Secondary School in 2009, Chinyere Pius is an HouseHelp with a family in Ikotun area…she was referred to us. Now, her hope to further her education is brightened. Read her comment here: really appreciate you guys for the great work you did for me infact i thought all hope is lost because i couldn’t get money for d exam but when you came, you gave me hope that I can make it and here I am with great surprise result although I don’t make my math but i can combine my NABTEB result wit it cos I have c6 math in it. But my joy is chemistry, economics and biology which i have at credit level. Infact God has used you to give me hope and for me to achieve my goal in life. Thank you so much i really appreciate you alot.

A Memorable Experience as the Kids went a-visiting...

Herewith are some photographs of a most recent event (December 15th, 2012) we had with some of our Sponsored kids. It was a Christtmas party that was organised for kids in the environ.

Really, it was a fun filling day for the kids who were visiting 'Father Christmas' for the very first time, receiving Christmas gift. A remarkable experience for them and you could tell from the excitement on their faces as they hop around from one  place to the other.....having fun.

Fundings: Not Enough..

.....Now, I really got to be pardoned. And, I know it...:D because it's hugely dawn on me that most of my updates got to do with young people's education, sponsorship, mentorship etc!... Really, working with young people has been so excitingly demanding! such that almost every day/week we receive request for education assistance from the disadvantaged young people who got dropped out of school etc and they really would love to get back to school. We get phone calls from some mothers(single parents) too and all they need is some financial support because things are pretty hard..

In less than 48hours we have got requests for JAMB exam sponsorship from 14 students and 2 for WAEC sponsorship from a Single parent whose child missed out of this year WAEC exam because she could not afford the fee...and there were no public schools in the environ to easily fix up her children.

Now, while our desire is to sponsor as many children as we can, however, our budget and findings wouldn't...'Obey' ! :) hence, the need to keep throwing it open on facebook etc so we could get the needed support and be a blessing to some kids out there. At present, we need to register approximately 17 more students for JAMB and WAEC(internal) exams which would cost about N160,000. We don't mind to send you details of each child to be sponsored...they need it badly and would appreciate it, if given the chance.. Kindly send a mail to rsnnigeria@gmail.com for our bank account details. We would be glad to have you sponsor our kids, pls.

This Season and always, our profound gratitude to everyone who has supported our works! Thank you, God bless you richly... Amen.

2013 WAEC Beneficiary: Let the Registration begin..

On the 4th of December, we did register a disadvantaged young man for the 2013 West African Examinatin for Senior Secondary School (WAEC). Caleb has been attending classes without enough funds to pay for his school fees and examination. This term, while other students attend classes, he had to stay back at home engaging in other activities/job just to earn some wages for himself and his sickly single parent -his mum.

Today, he has been registered and all expenses paid by Resource Sharing Network. Thanks to our Sponsors. #The photograph attached shows Caleb in the School Principal's office with the School Principal and staff of RSN

Thanks to YOU our friends.

God bless..really, it means so much to us when we reach out to meet the needs of young people who need some help. It's a privilege and we are thankful..:). In the following weeks, we look forward to assisting more students register for this examination. At present, we have three more on our waiting list. Every penny counts...Thanks for reading~

Another Beneficiary Gets Admission for a Higher National Diploma..

Today, we did receive a text message from one of the Beneficiaries of our Education Sponsorship Scheme, how he has gained admission into the Polytechnic for a Higher National Diploma (HND).

In 2009, after we sponsored his NECO Examination, Simon passed his exams and immediately secured admission into Kogi State Polytechnic for an OND. Herewith was the text message that we received from him. (exactly in his words):

“Good day, thanks for the text Message, I just checked my NECO and I got 9 Credits, I don’t
know how much I go thank you!!!!”

Today, his text message reads:

"Good day ma, how is the family? I have been given admission for a Higher National Diploma in Kogi State Polytechnic"

Good to know that he is no longer where he used to be...he is simply movingON.

Simon had his secondary school education in Government Day Sec. School, Lokoja, Kogi State

28th of December, 2012

Dear Friend,

As the year comes to an end, we have EVERY reason to be thankful to God for ALL things. Yes, and every reason to appreciate YOU our friend for your HUGE and immeasurable support, donations, good wishes etc. all through the year. Thank You!

Interestingly, in our own little way of paying it forward aside education sponsoring; we have visited some Orphanage Homes in the past years, to donate some items. Orphanages such as:

Little Saints Orphanage
Red Cross Orphanage and Makoko Waterside kids
Heart of Gold Children Hospice
Light of Hope School for DEAF and DUMB etc.

However, this year, on the 28th of December, 2012 we wish to Fundraise for our 2013 Education Sponsorship Projects and also spend some good time with Past and Present Beneficiaries of our Sponsorship/Mentorship Scheme. And, while we have some of them already in the Universities, Polytechnics etc...We have others in Primary and Secondary Schools.

Already, we have received a donation of N50,000 for this event from Dr. (Mrs) T, Much Appreciation! We look forward to an exciting time ~

Please for support of the 2013 Education Sponsorship Projects etc, Kindly address cheque(s) payable to Resource Sharing Network, Guaranteed Trust Bank (GTBank) 0119415943. #we need to keep Basit and others in school…

Do have a Fruitful Week…
