19 Days Activism...We Want A Better World.

The 19DaysOfActivism which began on the 1st of November would end on the 19th of November, 2013. It is our collective responsibility to nurture a Community, A Society, A Nation and A better World void of abuse and violence against young people.

In collaboration with the Women's World Summit Foundation (WWSF) Geneva, we shall be updating our Facebook Status update with information concerning this issue. Also, We would be visiting Schools, Creating Awareness, Having Seminars with Students and School Officials. Let's Keep A Safe World, Together, We Can!

On November 1st, The Theme was about: Children Involved in Armed Conflict. To date, an estimated 300,000 children are being recruited and used by diversed armed forces/groups in over 30Countries.. #SayNo .

On the 2nd of November, It was about •Child Sexual Abuse. Available data suggest that 1 in 5 children are victims of some form of sexual violence.

On 3rd November, It was about •Bullying. Bullying is repeated hostile behaviour by one or more children, which intended to harm other children. It may be physical violence, taunting, ridiculing, threats or intimidation. The internet & Mobile phones, provide a new form of bullying (cyber-bullying).

On 4th November, It was about •Child Neglect. Did you know that 30% of abused and neglected children will later abuse their own children, continuing the horrible cycle of abuse.

On 5th of November, It was about •Child Labour. Not all work done by children should be classified as Child Labour. The term child labour is often defined as work that deprieves children of their childhood, their potential and their dignity, which is harmful to their physical and mental development!

On 6th of November, It was about •Corporal Punishment (Physical Punishment).

On 7th of November, It was about •Sale of Children. A child can be sold for multiple reasons: sexual exploitation, modern slavery, organ trafficking, illegal adoption, etc. #SayNo

On 8th of November it was about Child Pornography...Over 50% of all countries have no laws addressing child pornography!

Today, is 9th Of November and the theme is Child Prostitution! It is estimated that atleast 1.8millions children are sexually exploited through prostitution. Poverty is a factor heightening this risk. #SayNo
