#COTS 2015

Dear Sir/Ma,

Last year, through your intervention, we were able to reach out to more than 200 children through the Christmas on the Street program -COTS which lasted for 2days, as we visited children in rural communities of Ikola, Agbado/Oke-Odo LGDA. We thank you very much. God Bless!

Now, this year...in DECEMBER! We hope to visit some other communities -granting wishes of children on the streets, and rural areas. And, we hope to get the following items to distribute to needy children. S/N Item Quantity Unit Price Total Price 1. Rice 250 2,500 625,000 2. Groundnut Oil 250 500 125,000 3. Processed Tomato Sauce 1000 50 50,000

The Message Young People Bring.

“The secret message communicated to most young people today by the society around them is that they are not needed, that the society will run itself quite nicely until they - at some distant point in the future - will take over the reigns. Yet the fact is that the society is not running itself nicely... because the rest of us need all the energy, brains, imagination and talent that young people can bring to bear down on our difficulties. For society to attempt to solve its desperate problems without the full participation of even very young people is imbecile.” ― Alvin Toffler

Special Thanks to all SSI Child Sponsors

... When parents could not afford to register her for this year WAEC examination, all hope seemed lost as Aniette stopped going to school. And, had to watch her school mates furthering on. Attached Photograph taken on 8th of April, this year, was during our visit to a neighbouring high school to enrol her for an alternate, national examination -NECO! We did register her also, for the GCE examination with some other 22 young people. Today, she's seen her NECO result, and sent us a copy! Aniette made all of her compulsory papers (EIGHT), except Biology. Fingers crossed till we get her GCE results.
Special Thanks to all SSI Child Sponsors.
We love you, more..
