Teacher's Training on Effective Communication..
On Saturday, 10th of April, 2016, we had a fantastic training session for our (volunteer) teachers at *Helpers Academy with Mr. Oloyede Fagbemi of Standard Chartered Bank as facilitator.
Mr. Oloyede, a Senior Bank Manager with SCB spoke on Effective Communication in the Classroom. It was such an important topic to facilitate, as every participant of the training program could relate so well with his teachings and had so much to learn. Indeed, it was a time to learn, unlearn and relearn for effective impartation in the classroom. There were 9 teachers!
Interestingly, at the end of the training exercise every teacher got some donated foodstuff to take home. Zillion thanks to Mr. Oloyede for the efforts, and Mrs. Faloju for the grand coordination/refreshments.
**Helpers' Academy is an intervention school program of Street to School initiative. A non fee paying school designed for out of school, rural and street children**
