Alimosho Local Government Area in Lagos State was thrown into great jubilation on Friday, September 14, 2018 when the Embassy of Japan, led by His Excellency, Yutaka Kikuta, The Japanese Ambassador to Nigeria brought succor to members of the community following the handover exercise  of  the newly improved Ikola Primary Health Care Centre implemented by Street to School, Initiative.

The project is valued at the sum of $69,432, funded by the Japanese Government in order to equip the Primary Health Centre, thereby enhancing health services. It is hoped by the Japanese people and Government that it would further strengthen bilateral relations between Nigeria and Japan.

Mrs. Tosin Taiwo, Founder of Street to School Initiative expressed gratitude to the Japenese Government  for funding the project.  “We are excited and honoured to have our request granted by the Japanese Government as all the community children and women can now have access to quality health care services” says Mrs. Taiwo.

The event had in attendance The Commissioner for Wealth Creation And Employment, Honourable Uzamat Akinbile;  Alajasa of Ajasa, Oba Sule Suberu; Council Chairman of Agbado/Oke-Odo LCDA;  Dr. Arogundade; President of CAN, Agbado/Oke-Odo LCD; The Chief Imam, Agbado/Oke-Odo and other dignitaries.
