Inspiring previously out of school children through career Mentorship

One of the strategies that we do use to keep our scholars excited about learning is to bring in career professionals from different works of life, to talk with them. 

Over time, we have had amazing friends from the banking sector, oil & gas SECTOR, EDUCATION, ICT etc, visit our Scholars. It's usually fun-packed, mind engaging sessions with our BIG friends. We're hopeful, that, these visits & mentorship would create lasting positive memories & mental pictures, giving answers to whatever the fuss about formal learning ☺ Sadly, to some kids, It's a big FUSS. Lol.

Consequently, every day, we PUSH –MAC. Motivating A Child to keep keeping on.

Yesterday, we had a Director from Somon Air LLC visit us. Aside the fact that he is a brother who has spent a good part of his career life outside the shore, he’s been one of our amazing fans. Yesterday, he shared with the children, aged 9-16 his career journey & how valid every child's dream is. The kids had much to jot down.

We're excited to connect with friends who inspire our kids in great ways. We are hopeful for more impactful meet up with professionals, this year 2020!!

This year, we want to impact more kids to be intentional in the pursuit of their dream. Because, Every dream is valid. Every child's dream is.
