Every Child Can Learn, If Given A Chance..

 Working with children in marginalized areas doesn’t always come easy, without its many challenges such as: 

1. Unstable electrical power supply which makes access to online activities, minimal. For some 3 months now, we have been running on generating set (power generator) so that the classes would be comfortable for learning, and, that we can access some online classes. We wish to have a solar system installed some day soon. 

2. Hunger: Hey! This is a major challenge (smiles) as no effective learning can take place when a learner is hungry, so for some 2months now, we have been cooking in school to ensure no child goes hungry. Special thanks to Donors.

3. Cultural beliefs & practices. When we launched this school in 2015, we had it rough with some parents/guardians who do not appreciate Western Education.

Well, perhaps, the benefits of having informed, educated minds in a society inspire us to do more. So each day, we put in more effort to giving every child a chance to emancipate their minds. We opened a school to close prison doors.

Undoubtedly, every child can learn and learn well, if given a chance. This afternoon, I am sending a BIG shout out to everyone who’s got the back of these amazing children, the world all over. Thank YOU for all you do.
