Quayum Goes to School. Yes, He Got A Sponsor...!

 Every term, we got children on our waiting list for sponsorship. Children of diverse family backgrounds, experiences, religion, ethnicity, and value system. Children from different “works of life”. Wow.

This term, our first high school Education sponsorship beneficiary is Quayum! The young man who burst into tears with his mum, when we asked to know why he’s been away from school for so long - Homelessness.

Quayum was one of our pupils until he stopped abruptly without any explanation. ‘We lost our home, so myself and the four children had to put up in a ‘shop’, momma recounted. While Quayum tries hard to stop the tears.

I have never seen such a young man with an old soul. He understood the struggles, and could only communicate it non verbally -with tears uncontrollably.

Excitedly today, after getting him a sponsor, we got him enrolled in a Private High School. Thankfully, he’s got his grit back. And, his smile on. Kindly find the attached pictures and video clip.
