How We Got A Youth Busier..

We had a choice to press charges and have him sent to jail for breaking into our school in October, 2019. However, we decided to act differently by requesting for a one on one chat with him. My curiosity was to know why he did what he did. 

So we met, and, had this feedback:

1. He finished his high school education same year, and, hasn’t check his SSCE result. 

2. He was homeless (temporarily)

3. He’s lost his mum, and, had no idea where Father was.

4. He aspires to further his education 

So we did this:

1. Checked his result online. He had these:

Commerce C6. Finance Account B3. Economic; C4. Civic Education: C4. English Language. C6. Yoruba: C6. Mathematics: B3. Biology: D7.

2. We registered him immediately for Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.

3. He started an After school classes for further learning

2021.

1. He got admission to study Accounting at the Polytechnic 

2. He’s excited to start this journey, so are we...️
