REPORT: PUBLIC PRESENTATION OF CHIMAMANDA'S BOOK TITLED: MAMA'S SLEEPING SCARF.

On Friday, 16th February 2024, excitedly, we received a team from #CHIMAMANDA Ngozi Adichie for the Public Presentation of her recently launched book titled: “MAMA’S SLEEPING SCARF”. It was a significant milestone in promoting literacy among underprivileged school children.
Uriri Onojake of GLG Communications commenced the event with a warm welcome, followed by insightful remarks from Dr. Eghosa Imasuen of Narrative Landscape, emphasizing the importance of literacy promotion. Representatives from VFD Group expressed their support and commitment to the initiative, culminating in the official presentation of books to Street 2 School. Oluwatosin Olowoyeye-Taiwo, founder of Street 2 School, expressed gratitude to all attendees and partners for their contributions, especially to Readlandng. Dr. Francis Adeshina of Readland Global underscored the importance of continued collaboration and investment in education for sustainable development. The event, attended by notable figures such as Ms. Morenike Omonike, Mr. Elmer Aluge, concluded on an inspiring note, leaving attendees motivated to continue making a positive impact in the lives of children through education and literacy initiatives.
